A person-centred Therapist and Counsellor, my strength lies in relationship and meaningful support of others. Working with individuals and groups.
These characteristics have informed the direction my career has taken. Through the Fashion Industry - as a Stylist, Make-Up Artist, Milliner, and in clothing production and design. Then moving into Tertiary Education, as a department coordinator involving course design, curriculum compliance at The Melbourne School of Fashion, Kangan Institute, Holmesglen Institute and the CAE. Undertaking Arts Therapy and Counselling studies, then moving into private practice, has been the perfect fit for me. I acknowledge that utilising my creativity and abilities to support others has been "an extraordinary privilege". My clinical practice incorporates evidence-based counselling and therapeutic interventions, strengthened with several creative modalities, my own lived experiences, and mindfulness practice. This work can produce results that are transformational. I continue to deliver leisure and lifestyle programs for community groups, NFPs and the neighbourhood house sector. In my own arts practice, I have exhibited and sold locally, nationally and internationally. My personal exploration through creativity continues to flourish with interests in a wide variety of visual arts and crafts.
